Lincoln leads his country in a civil war, a bloody war, and his most moral, constitutional and political crisis. He protected the union, abolished slavery, strengthened the federal government and modernized the economy. Lincoln came from a very poor family. He was not going to self, he teaching from self-education. He became a lawyer. Then he served 8 years in the state legislature and 2 years in Congress.
